• Avoid retinol, exfoliating acids, scrubs and strong active skincare around the brows for seven days.
• Do not wax, tint, thread or laminate your brows during the week before your appointment.
• Avoid excessive sun exposure and arrive without sunburn, irritation or broken skin.
• Avoid alcohol for 24 hours and limit caffeine on the morning of your appointment.
• Do not stop prescribed medication without speaking to your doctor.
• Please tell me about medications, allergies, skin conditions or previous cosmetic tattooing before your appointment.

• Your brows will initially look darker and more defined than the healed result. Mild redness, tenderness, flaking and uneven-looking colour are normal during healing.
• Follow the cleansing instructions provided and use only a clean, damp cotton pad on the area.
• Apply the supplied aftercare balm sparingly as directed.
• Keep makeup, active skincare and facial treatments away from the brows for 10 days.
• Avoid swimming, saunas, steam rooms, heavy sweating and prolonged water exposure for 10 days.
• Do not scratch, rub or pick at flaking skin.
• Once fully healed, apply SPF to help prevent premature fading.
• Your perfecting appointment is recommended at approximately four to six weeks.

At your follow-up, we will assess colour retention, symmetry, softness through the fronts, tail definition and any areas requiring additional coverage.

• Keep your lips well hydrated during the week before treatment.
• Gently exfoliate dry lips two to three days beforehand, but do not exfoliate irritated, cracked or broken skin.
• Lip blush can trigger the cold-sore virus, even if outbreaks are infrequent. If you have ever had a cold sore, speak with your GP or pharmacist about preventative antiviral medication.
• Begin the antiviral medication before your appointment and take it exactly as prescribed by your healthcare professional.
• Your appointment cannot proceed if you have an active cold sore, tingling that may indicate an outbreak, infection, severely cracked lips or irritation.
• Avoid alcohol for 24 hours and limit caffeine on the morning of your appointment.
• Allow adequate healing time between lip filler and lip blush. Please check the timing with your injector and cosmetic tattoo artist.
• Please disclose medications, allergies, previous cold sores, previous lip tattooing, and recent dental or injectable treatments.

• Lips are typically swollen and may feel tender during the first 24 hours. The colour will initially appear much brighter and deeper before softening considerably as it heals.
• Continue taking your antiviral medication for the full course prescribed by your GP or pharmacist. Do not stop early simply because your lips appear to be healing well.
• Keep the lips clean and apply the supplied balm using clean hands or a disposable applicator.
• Do not pick, peel or bite flaking skin.
• Avoid lipstick, gloss and unapproved skincare products until the surface has healed.
• For the first few days, avoid very hot, spicy, salty or acidic foods if they cause discomfort.
• Avoid swimming, saunas, steam rooms, heavy sweating and prolonged sun exposure while healing.
• Drink carefully and gently clean the lips after eating.
• Once healed, regularly use a lip balm containing SPF to reduce fading.
• Your perfecting appointment is recommended at approximately eight weeks.

If you notice cold-sore symptoms such as tingling, burning or blistering, contact your GP or pharmacist promptly and let me know. Preventative antiviral medication reduces the risk of an outbreak but cannot guarantee one will not occur.

At your follow-up, we will assess overall colour retention, border softness, symmetry, cool or warm areas and whether any patches require additional pigment.

• Remove contact lenses before treatment and bring glasses to wear home.
• Arrive without mascara, eyeliner, eye makeup or false lashes.
• Eyelash extensions must be removed before your appointment.
• Avoid lash tinting or lifting immediately before treatment.
• Stop using lash-growth serum before your appointment according to the timeframe advised during your consultation.
• Your appointment cannot proceed if you have an eye infection, conjunctivitis, stye, significant irritation or broken skin around the eyes.
• Please tell me about eye conditions, previous eye surgery, allergies, medications or previous cosmetic tattooing.

• Mild swelling, tenderness and a slightly heavier-looking lash line can be expected initially. The colour will soften as the area heals.
• Keep the area clean by gently cleaning with a slightly damp cotton pad morning and evening.
• Do not rub, scratch or pick at the lash line.
• Avoid eye makeup and contact lenses for at least 24-48 hours, or longer if the eyes remain sensitive.
• Avoid swimming, saunas, steam rooms, heavy sweating and prolonged water exposure while healing.
• Do not use lash-growth serum, strong active skincare or lash treatments near the area until it has healed.
• Wear sunglasses outdoors, but avoid pressure or rubbing against the treated skin.
• Your perfecting appointment is recommended at approximately 2 weeks.

At your follow-up, we will assess evenness, colour retention, lash-line continuity and whether any small gaps require perfecting.

Seek medical advice promptly if you develop increasing redness, heat, discharge, severe swelling, significant pain or any change in vision.
